Searing Sunraze Smash (Japanese: サンシャインスマッシャー Sunshine Smasher) is a damage-dealing Steel-type Z-Move introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Solgaleo and Dusk Mane Necrozma and an upgraded version of their signature move, Sunsteel Strike.
Effect
Generation VII
- Main article: Ignoring Abilities
Searing Sunraze Smash inflicts damage, ignoring all ignorable Abilities during the execution of that move. (Ignorable Abilities are most Abilities that could potentially negatively affect the success, damage, or effects of a move if possessed by the target of a move or its allies—such as Multiscale and Friend Guard.)
Generation VIII onwards
Searing Sunraze Smash cannot be selected in a battle.
Description
|
Learnset
Solgaleo or Dusk Mane Necrozma, or a Pokémon transformed into either, can use Searing Sunraze Smash if it knows Sunsteel Strike, holds a Solganium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Power Ring.

Solgaleo's Trainer turns the Solganium Z in their Z-Power Ring clockwise and strikes a series of synchronized poses to build Z-Power. Solgaleo then changes into its Radiant Sun phase and opens an Ultra Wormhole, carrying its riders through it; or, Solgaleo cloaks itself with orange-yellow energy, spins itself around, and slams into the opponent with full force. | ||
