Blizzard (Japanese: ふぶき Snowstorm) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I. It is TM14 in every generation so far.
Effect
Generation I
Blizzard does damage and has a 9.8% chance of freezing the target. It can't freeze a target that has a Substitute or already has a major status ailment. It has an accuracy of 89.5% in Generation I.
Generation II
Same as before, but 10% chance of freezing and 70% accuracy instead.
Generation IV
Blizzard has an accuracy of 100% if used while it is hailing.

Pokémon
Delcatty: It releases from its mouth an icy wind with small snowballs.
- Used by Dr. Abby's Delcatty in Delcatty Got Your Tongue.
Skitty: It takes a breath of air and releases a sparkly icy wind.
- First used by May's Skitty from Delcatty Got Your Tongue to present.
Weavile: The crystal on Weavile's forehead glows. Weavile then fires snowballs from its mouth.
- Used by Paul's Weavile in Top-Down Training.
Rotom: Rotom opens itself and then snowballs are launched.
- Used by a wild Rotom in DP105.
