Effect

Force Palm inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of paralyzing the target.

Description

Games Description The foe is attacked with a shock wave. It may also leave the target paralyzed. PMDTDS Inflicts damage on the target. It may also afflict the targeted enemy with a Paralysis status condition. A Pokémon with the Paralysis status has slowed movement and is incapable of action. Conq The target is attacked with a shock wave. It may also leave the target with paralysis. The target is attacked with a shock wave. This may also leave the target with paralysis.

Etymology

The Japanese name of the move is based on a term used in Chinese martial arts, especially involving internal energies and use of explosive force. In Japanese, the term Fa jin/Hakkei often translates to "release internal power".

• Force Palm is the only Fighting-type move able to inflict paralysis.
