Macro Cosmos's (Japanese: マクロコスモス Macro Cosmos) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VIII. It is the Trainer class used by people working for Macro Cosmos, notably Rose and Oleana. It is also the Trainer class of League staff that were recruited by Oleana to stop the player from reaching the chairman in Rose Tower. In contrast to other League staff, Macro Cosmos's have gray hair, black sunglasses, and Macro Cosmos shirts underneath their jackets. With the exception of Oleana, all Macro Cosmos's Trainers specialize in Steel types.

Macro Cosmos's in the anime

A group of Macro Cosmos's appeared in Sword and Shield, Slumbering Weald!, where they were acting as Oleana's subordinates. One of them followed Goh and Sonia and antagonized them until Sword and Shield: "From Here to Eternatus!", when a battle resulting in his defeat forced the subordinate to retreat. He eventually returned with additional subordinates, only for all of them to be pushed out of the way by Goh and Sonia as they left. They later confronted Sonia at the entrance to the Hammerlocke Stadium, only for Raihan to appear to defend her. In the next episode, Raihan easily defeated all of the employees, forcing them to retreat.

Eric (Japanese: トシユキ Toshiyuki) and a group of Macro Cosmos's were sent to Route 9 Tunnel in PASS18 to dispose of a wild Dracovish that suddenly Dynamaxed. The Dracovish was saved by Marvin, who used his Sniffler to stun everyone long enough for him to catch Dracovish and escape. Afterward, Eric and the others reported their failure to Oleana and were ordered to stand by in Wyndon.

In PASS27, multiple Macro Cosmos's were seen at Rose Tower, overseeing the Galar Particles created by the Darkest Day. However, they determined that they were far off from the amount required.
