Aerilate (Japanese: スカイスキン Sky Skin) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI.
Effect
In battle
Generation VI
Aerilate causes all Normal-type moves used by the Pokémon to become Flying-type and receive a 30% power boost. It overrides Ion Deluge and Electrify.
Generation VII
Affected moves now receive a 20% power boost.
Affected moves
The table below lists the moves affected by Aerilate, as well as the Pokémon that can have Aerilate and learn those moves.
Although the following moves are affected by the Ability, they currently cannot be learned by any Pokémon with Aerilate. They may, however, be called via Metronome, Mirror Move, Copycat, or Mimic, or be used by a Pokémon that gained Aerilate by an Ability like Trace or Receiver or a move such as Skill Swap or Role Play.
Outside of battle
Aerilate has no effect outside of battle.

Trivia
- Not counting signature Abilities that Pokémon gain via Mega Evolution, this is the only Ability restricted to Mega Evolutions; therefore, it has been removed from the core series as of Generation VIII.
