Izabe Island (Japanese: イザベ島 Izabe Island) is an anime-exclusive location in the Hoenn region. It is a large island situated between Mossdeep City and Sootopolis City. It contains a wide variety of environments, from deserted areas to snow-covered mountains. Its highest peak is known as the Square Top, a cube-shaped rock formation on a mountain. Ash and his friends traveled across the island from A Cacturne for the Worse to Do I Hear a Ralts?.

The island was the location of a number of important events such as May meeting Harley and winning her fourth Contest Ribbon, Brock's Lotad evolving into Lombre, Ash catching a Snorunt, and Max befriending a Ralts that he promised to start his journey with.
