Zap Cannon (Japanese: でんじほう Electromagnetic Cannon) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation II. It was TM07 in Generation II.
Effect
Generations II and III
Zap Cannon has a power of 100 and paralyzes the target every time it hits.
Generation IV
Zap Cannon's power was raised to 120.
Generation VI
Zap Cannon paralyzes a target with Color Change before it changes its type to Electric.
Pokémon with the Bulletproof Ability are immune to Zap Cannon.

- Although Espeon was only able to learn Zap Cannon in Generation II, Anabel's Espeon used it in Second Time's the Charm!, an episode that is set during the time of Generation III.
- Zap Cannon is the only special move with a 100% chance of paralyzing the target if successful under normal conditions.
