Baraz (Japanese: バルザ Barza) is a character in Hoopa — The Mischief Pokémon and Hoopa and the Clash of Ages. He is Mirai's older brother and takes care of Hoopa in Arche Valley.

Young Baraz

Baraz grew up in Arche Valley alongside Mirai and his friends Kopou, Bit, and Luca. One day, she, Baraz, and her friends tried to help Old Man Don by having Hoopa make rain appear to stop the drought. This didn't work however, as Hoopa misunderstood and let it rain candy from Mira's store instead. They were punished for this by Mira, and had to help her make donuts. They later got in even more trouble, when they accidentally broke an ivory statue treasured by Mira. They tried to glue the statue, but weren't able to make it look like it did before. Mira ultimately discovered this, but she wasn't mad at them as they had done their best to repair it. Afterwards they all enjoyed the donuts they made together.

In the present day, Baraz and Mirai were wandering in the desert near Dahara City as they were looking for the Prison Bottle. Following a long search, Baraz decided to look for it own his own from his Braviary, and told Mirai to go on ahead to Dahara City with Hoopa. They promised each other they would meet at the Dahara Tower.

After discovering the Prison Bottle in the desert, he would meet Ash and his friends in Dahara City, where he is seen holding the bottle that is emanating an evil presence.

Braviary is one of Baraz's Pokémon. It first appeared in Hoopa — The Mischief Pokémon. During Baraz and Mirai's search for the Prison Bottle, Baraz decided to look for it on his own. As such, he chose Braviary and went off on it.

Braviary's only known move is Air Slash.

Solrock

Solrock is one of Baraz's Pokémon.
