Frost Breath (Japanese: こおりのいぶき Ice Breath) is a damage-dealing Ice-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TM79 as of Generation V.

Frost Breath inflicts damage and will always result in a critical hit unless the target has Battle Armor, Shell Armor, or is under the effect of Lucky Chant.

Generation VI

Frost Breath's power was increased from 40 to 60. Since the critical hit damage modifier was reduced from 2× to 1.5× this generation, the damage Frost Breath deals remains largely the same.
