Spite (Japanese: うらみ Spite) is a non-damaging Ghost-type move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Generation II

Spite will lower the PP of the last move the target used. The number of PP lost is selected randomly between one and five.

Generation III

The number of PP lost now varies between two and five.

Generation IV

Spite will now deduct 4 PP from the last move that the target used.

Generations V and VI

Spite can now be reflected with Magic Coat.

Generation VII

If powered up by a Ghostium Z into Z-Spite, the user regains some HP.

Description

Games Description Stad2 A vengeful move that slightly reduces the PP of the opponent's last move. GSC Cuts the PP of the foe's last move. RSE Spitefully cuts the PP of the foe's last move. FRLG A move that cuts 2 to 5 PP from the move last used by the foe. ColoXD Spitefully cuts the PP of the target's last move. DPPtHGSS The user looses its grudge on the move last used by the foe by cutting 4 PP from it. BWB2W2 XYORAS SM The user unleashes its grudge on the move last used by the target by cutting 4 PP from it.
