A Schoolgirl (Japanese: スクールガール Schoolgirl) is a type of Pokémon Trainer introduced in Generation VI. In Kalos, they are depicted as young girls dressed in school uniforms who carry a backpack around with them. They could be considered elder versions of the School Kid class. In Galar, they are notably younger and dress up more casually.

Main article: Schoolgirl (Fusion Strike 239)

Schoolgirl was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Sword & Shield Series (the Japanese Sword & Shield Era). It was first released in the Japanese Skyscraping Perfection expansion before debuting in English in the Fusion Strike expansion, with an illustration based on the kirisAki artwork of the character. It was also released as a Full Art card and Secret card in both expansions, with an illustration by Hideki Ishikawa. Schoolgirl allows the player to draw 2 cards, and if the opponent has exactly 2, 4, or 6 Prize cards remaining, 2 more cards are drawn.
