Route 208 is a route in eastern Sinnoh. It leads Trainers between Hearthome City and one of the exits of Mt. Coronet. Route 208 is a lush field of grass next to Mt. Coronet's rocky mountainside, creating a wonderful contrast to the eye. The Berry Master, an old man who loves berries, lives at the eastern end of this route.
Route description
The route starts out from the west, by exiting Mt. Coronet. It then makes its way east, to a series of bridges which pass over a chasm. These bridges facilitate travel in two directions: across to the other side of the chasm, or down to the river which flows underneath.
The high road will take travelers to a grassy meadow, to which the Berry Master's house is adjacent. This expert grower will hand out one random berry daily. A tree at the southern end of the meadow is can be covered in honey to attract wild Pokémon; the entrance to Hearthome City is further to the east.
The meandering Trainer will make his or her way down to the river which flows at the base of the mountain. A path, accessible with Rock Climb, can be traversed for a battle with a Hiker and an Iron. By surfing along the river and up a steep waterfall, more items can be found.
Map information
- A lush field of grass spreads from Mt. Coronet's sheer rock face, creating a vista of contrasts.
- The Berry Master, an old man who loves nature, Pokémon, and Berries, makes his home here.
