The Glacial Cavern (Japanese: 氷河の大空洞 Great Glacier Hollow) is a type of hideaway seen in the Grand Underground. It can only be accessed after the player obtains the Explorer Kit in Eterna City from the Underground Man, and features Pokémon that roam the cave freely, instead of being found in tall grass.
Geography
Glacial Cavern is a large snowy, rock and ice spike filled cavern, containing a lake. The water can be Surfed on to encounter Pokémon visible in the water. Some rocks and ice spikes are taller than the player, and must be navigated around.
