Frost Breath (Japanese: こおりのいぶき Ice Breath) is a damage-dealing Ice-type move introduced in Generation V. It was TM79 from Generation V to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Effect
Generation V
Frost Breath inflicts damage and will always result in a critical hit unless the target has Battle Armor, Shell Armor, or is under the effect of Lucky Chant.
Generation VI onwards
Frost Breath's power was increased from 40 to 60, coinciding with critical hits now dealing 1.5x damage instead of 2x damage.
