Route 15 is a route consisting mostly of water and small islands. Due to the rocks littering the route, RideSharpedo is required to fully explore the area, which can be provided to the player by Grimsley, a former member of the Unovaregion's Elite Four. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, one of the islands has a construction site on it. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the same spot now houses a Mantine Surf Association building. Also in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the player briefly encounters Guzma here during Mina's trial.
On the northwestern beach, against the cliff north of the Fisherman with the Starmie (after obtaining Sharpedo Jet) (hidden) (regenerates occasionally)

On the northern shore of Route 15, the player can find a young boy building a sandcastle. If the player volunteers to help him, the sandcastle will be revealed to be a Sandygast possessing the boy and attack the player. After the Sandygast is caught or defeated, it will leave behind a pouch of Stardust.
