In the movies
Layla and her husband Moose were traveling on a train to her great-grandmother's hundredth birthday celebration and wanted to give her a bouquet of Gracideas. On the train, they met up with Ash, Brock, Dawn, Shaymin, Sylvan, Shun, Taka, and Kako. She bonded with Shaymin and witnessed it transform into its Sky Forme when it touched the bouquet of Gracideas for her great-grandmother.
