Stun Spore Paralysis the target. | ===Generation I===
Stun Spore Paralysis the target. In the Generation I handheld games only, Stun Spore can affect a target behind a substitute.
Stun Spore | ===Generation II===
In the Generation II core series games, when an in-game opponent outside of the Battle Tower uses Stun Spore, the move has a 25% chance to fail in addition to its normal chance to miss.
===Generation III to V===
Stun Spore cannot affect targets with Limber as their Ability.
Stun Spore can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points if Sweet Scent was used in the previous turn.
===Generation VI onwards===
Grass and Electric Pokémon, Pokémon with Overcoat, and Pokémon holding the Safety Goggles are now immune to Stun Spore.
Stun Spore can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing Hex and Smelling Salts to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Grassium Z into Z-Stun Spore, the user's Special Defense stat is raised by one stage.

Stun Spore (Japanese: しびれごな Numbing Powder) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation I.
It appears to be a paralyzing counterpart to Poison Powder and Sleep Powder, as the accuracy, Contest group, appeal, effects, Japanese names and animation are the same or very similar. They are also usually learned at the same level or in a similar pattern.
Effect
Generation I
Stun Spore paralyzes the target. In the Generation I handheld games only, Stun Spore can affect a target behind a substitute.
Generation II
In the Generation II core series games, when an in-game opponent outside of the Battle Tower uses Stun Spore, the move has a 25% chance to fail in addition to its normal chance to miss.
Generation III to V
Stun Spore cannot affect targets with Limber as their Ability.
Stun Spore can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 2 bonus appeal points if Sweet Scent was used in the previous turn.
Generation VI onwards
Grass-type and Electric-type Pokémon, Pokémon with Overcoat, and Pokémon holding the Safety Goggles are now immune to Stun Spore.
Stun Spore can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing Hex and Smelling Salts to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Grassium Z into Z-Stun Spore, the user's Special Defense stat is raised by one stage.
Generation VIII
