Glacia had trained in an unspecified region before journeying to Hoenn to become part of the Elite Four. She has a team consisting of five very powerful Ice Pokémon, to which she refers as having "flaming passion in icy cold".<!--She traveled south because she thought that Ice-types could be strengthened in harsh and warmer regions.-->
Glacia is the third member of the Hoenn Elite Four to be faced at the Pokémon League. She dislikes the fact that most of the Trainers she has met in Hoenn are not skilled enough to live up to her expectations.

Glacia and the other Elite Four members are called by Steven to help protect the Hoenn region from the battle between Super-ancient Pokémon (Adventures) and Super-ancient Pokémon (Adventures). Glacia was initially stationed at Island Cave as part of the plan to unseal Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. When the legendary titans are unsealed, Glacia is tasked with controlling Regice alongside Phoebe. Glacia (Japanese: プリム Purim) is an Ice-type Trainer and member of the Hoenn Elite Four.

In the core series games

Glacia challenging the player

Glacia is the third member of the Hoenn Elite Four to be faced at the Pokémon League. She dislikes the fact that most of the Trainers she has met in Hoenn are not skilled enough to live up to her expectations.[4] Glacia had trained in an unspecified region before journeying to Hoenn to become part of the Elite Four.[5] She has a team consisting of five very powerful Ice-type Pokémon, to which she refers as having "flaming passion in icy cold".[citation needed]

History

Ruby & Sapphire arc

Glacia and the other Elite Four members are called by Steven to help protect the Hoenn region from the battle between Groudon and Kyogre. Glacia was initially stationed at Island Cave as part of the plan to unseal Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. When the legendary giants are unsealed, Glacia is tasked with controlling Regice alongside Phoebe. The Elite Four, Steven, and Wallace all control the three Pokémon in three pairs of two and use their power to keep the power released from Groudon and Kyogre's battle from spreading throughout Hoenn. They manage to keep the power contained for several weeks, but the strain is too much for Steven and he eventually dies, causing the three Pokémon to lash out and flee. Glacia later mourns Steven's death before his revival at the hands of Ruby's Celebi.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc

Glacia, along with various people from around Hoenn, is called to Sootopolis City to assist in stopping Grand Meteor Delta, a giant meteoroid threatening to destroy the planet. When the plan to attack Grand Meteor Delta starts, Glacia and the others have their Pokémon attack the meteoroid at the same time. This, combined with the might of Mega Rayquaza, successfully shatters Grand Meteor Delta into pieces.

 • Glacia is the only member of Hoenn's Elite Four who is never seen outside of Ever Grande City.
 • One of the NPCs in the Mauville Food Court mentions seeing Glacia eating ramen there, saying she was slurping down her noodles at such an incredible pace that she was dripping with sweat.[6]
 • In the rematch in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Glacia is the only Elite Four member to still use Pokémon from the same evolutionary line.
 • In Pokémon Emerald, Glacia's Walrein is the only ace Pokémon used by an Elite Four member to not know Rock Slide.
 • Despite claiming to use items as her main strategy, the only items Glacia uses are Full Restores as well as a single Sitrus BerryRSE/Mega StoneORAS,the same items as the other Elite Four members.
