If the player has completed all of their academy classes and has completed the Indigo Disk DLC, Giacomo can be found in the academy hall alongside Eri in his school uniform, revealing that Mela and the other bosses were struggling to catch up in their classes and were at risk of being left behind. They had attempted to begin an impromptu study session, but Mela left, prompting Eri to ask the player to bring her back. She can be found in the school yard tending to several plants and agrees to return at their urging.

When talking to the player, she doesn’t like showing her true nature. A Charcadet will later run up to Mela, turns out he used to be a Pokémon Mela played with very often during her time attending school.
Upon returning to the academy, Mela enrolls into the art club to pursue a hobby.

In addition to the Star Badge, Mela gives out {{TM|038|Flame Charge}} after defeating her.
During the session, Mela reveals that she is unsure about her future, seeing that her fellow bosses already have their own plans set. The player reminds her about her art and she comes to realize that art could also be a job, seeing how [[Hassel]] teaches art to students while seemingly doing nothing.

She is responsible for getting the Starmobiles powered up by evolving a large group of Charcadet. Currently, her sense of style isn't what she had when attending Naranja AcademyS/Uva AcademyV. Mela developed her outside appearance and personality after some girls in the academy were jealous of how cute she was, which stopped them from picking on her.

When talking to the player, she doesn’t like showing her true nature. A Charcadet will later run up to Mela, which turns out to be a Pokémon Mela played with very often during her time attending school.

Mela awards the player with Team Star's Fire Badge and TM038 (Flame Charge) upon her defeat. Additionally, her defeat allows the player to craft the following TMs using the TM Machine:

Scarlet & Violet arc

Mela debuted in PASV09, during a flashback to Scarlet's time under Team Star's care. While preparing to leave the base she was staying at, Scarlet received both a Charcadet and an Auspicious Armor from Mela as a token of friendship. Scarlet initially refused to take Mela's treasured armor, but eventually agreed after Mela and Eri's continued insistence.

Later, Mela called Scarlet, requesting that she come work for Team Star as a bodyguard and protect the Grunts from a student named Violet. Scarlet traveled to the Schedar Squad's Base and had an audience with Mela, stating she had no intention of protecting what she considered trash. Scarlet criticized Mela and the rest of Team Star, noting how in the past year, they went from helping out people in need to attempting to coerce others to join their group. Furious at these accusations, Mela angrily demanded that Scarlet leave her sight.

Later, Violet raided the Schedar Squad's Base, taking on several Grunts in a Star Barrage alongside his friend Nemona. Although Nemona quickly defeated the required number of Grunts much faster than Violet did, Mela impatiently demanded the latter be brought to her instead, as he was the one who issued the challenge. During the battle, an unusually strong ray of sunlight caused Violet to suffer heat exhaustion and pass out before Nemona revived him with her Quaxly's Rain Dance. The culprit was found out by Clive to be Charlos, a Charcadet raised by the academy that Mela had befriended. After scolding Charlos for its interference, Mela continued her battle with Violet, which eventually ended in the latter's victory.

With her loss, Mela was forced to step down from her position as squad boss. Clive revealed he had been investigating Team Star, but all information on them had been wiped from the academy database. Mela was shocked to hear about this and suspected it was an intentional act of sabotage. Mela agreed to talk about Operation Star, but only after she had consulted the other squad bosses and the big boss.

Used
Revavroom

The Schedar Starmobile was first seen alongside Mela as the latter talked to Scarlet. It was later used to battle Violet when he raided the Schedar Squad's Base. It managed to take out Violet's Clodsire before being taken out by his Crocalor's super effective Stomping Tantrum.

Revavroom's known moves are Blazing Torque and Screech, and its Ability is Speed Boost.

They were eventually thwarted by Nemona and her Quaxwell. After Mela was defeated, she accepted her loss and left the base with Charlos and the other Charcadet.
