Route 9 (Japanese: ９番道路 Route 9) is a route in northeast Galar that connects Circhester, Spikemuth, and the Route 9 Tunnel. The middle portion of the route is also known as Circhester Bay (Japanese: キルクスの入り江 Circus Bay), while the southern portion is also known as Outer Spikemuth (Japanese: スパイクタウンはずれ Spike Town Outskirts).

Trivia

• There is a Swimmer who tells the player that he can swim all the way from Galar to Kalos. This is a double tribute to the famous English Channel crossing swims between England and France, and in X and Y, the player can meet a similar Swimmer who said he could swim all the way from Kalos to Hoenn, an apparent reference to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
