Flamigo (Japanese: カラミンゴ Karamingo) is a dual-type Flying/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation IX.
It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Biology
Flamigo is an avian Pokémon resembling a flamingo. It is mostly pink, with a rounded body and wings, and a long serpentine neck that's usually tied into a knot at the base. It is said that Flamigo ties its neck into a knot to keep the energy inside its belly from escaping. Flamigo also has tall thin white legs with webbed feet, a white face, a curved beak with a black tip, and yellow eyes with black pupils. Flamigo typically stands on one of its legs.
Flamigo lives near bodies of water and in wetlands. Flocks of Flamigo are known to attack together in perfect harmony, via a behavior known as "synchronizing". Flamigo is the only known Pokémon that can have Costar as an Ability.

Trivia
- There is a visual error on Flamigo's Paldea Pokédex image, showing two Flamigo with their wings both spread out and tucked in.
Origin
Flamigo appears to be based on a flamingo. Its knotted neck and body shape may be a reference to a balloon animal, a boxing glove, or a plastic flamingo lawn ornament.
Flamigo's classification and Fighting-type may be a reference to the elaborate, synchronized courtship dances performed by flamingos, which can encompass the entirety of a flock.
Name origin
Flamigo may be a combination of flamingo and amigo (Spanish and Portuguese for friend).
Karamingo may be a combination of 絡み karami (linkage; entanglement; relationship; involvement) and flamingo.
