Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Battle Dimension is the eleventh season of the Pokémon anime, immediately following the conclusion of the tenth season. As such it is the second season of the Diamond & Pearl series, following Ash as he continues gathering badges in Sinnoh and Dawn as she continues gathering ribbons.
It began on April 12, 2008 with the dub premiere Tears for Fears!, and concluded on May 2, 2009 with Sleepless In Pre-Battle!.
It is preceded by Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl and is succeeded by Pokémon Diamond & Pearl: Galactic Battles. This season began a new trend, similar to that in Japan where one episode is aired most weeks, there was no break between this season and season 12.
It began airing on digital TV's Jetix in the UK in late 2008. It began to air on UK Freeview, which was a replacement of the old ITV Digital which was formerly ONdigital 1998 and briefly re-branded as ITV Digital in July 2001, launched on 30 October 2002 on January 5th 2009, simultaneously on CITV/ITV4, owned by ITV plc, formed by the merger of Granada plc and Carlton Communications on 2004 on Action Stations!. It began to air on YTV in Canada owned by Corus Entertainment on Monday, March 2, 2009.
See the list of Diamond & Pearl: Battle Dimension episodes for a list of episodes aired this season.
