A Cheri Berry (Japanese: クラボのみ Kurabo Fruit) is a type of Berry. It was introduced in Generation III and is the first Berry numerically in both Hoenn and Sinnoh. It is the spiritual successor of the PRZCureBerry from Generation II, having an identical effect when used on or by a Pokémon. At a size of 0.8 inches (2 cm), it is also the smallest Berry.

In the Generation V games, the Cheri Berry can be sold to the gourmet maniac on Route 5 for $20.

Effect

Held item

If the holder is paralyzed, it will consume its held Cheri Berry and cure it of paralysis. When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, Bug Bite, or Item Urge, it also cures the consumer of paralysis.

Bag item

When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it cures that Pokémon of paralysis. This consumes the Cheri Berry.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it can be used to cure a paralyzed Pokémon, or thrown near wild Pokémon to draw their attention.

Cheri Berries debuted in Berry, Berry Interesting, where May picked a few from a garden to blend with other Berries in order to produce Pokéblocks for her Pokémon.

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters Out of the Gate!, Cheri Berries were under the possession of Team Go-Getters. However, the Cheri Berries, along with most of their other Berries, were eaten by Ekans of Team Meanies.

Cheri Berries appeared in Like It or Lup It!.

In Cooking Up a Sweet Story!, Cheri Berries were in Abigail's Berry basket.

Cheri Berries appeared in Hungry for the Good Life!.

In Uncrushing Defeat!, a Cheri Berry was used to heal Ash's Monferno.

In A Fork in the Road! A Parting of the Ways!, Dr. White gave Jessie a Cheri Berry, which cured her after she had been hit by a wild Gloom's Stun Spore.

Ruby & Sapphire arc

In Tripped Up by Torkoal, Ruby took out multiple Berries, including a Cheri Berry, to be used for Berry Blending.

In I Dare Ya, Altaria... Knock Chic off My Shoulder, a Cheri Berry appeared amongst the Berries that Sapphire had collected during her travels.

Emerald arc

In Sneaky Like Shedinja II, Cheri Berries were some of the Berries that Emerald's Sceptile sliced with Leaf Blade for its Trainer to eat.

Diamond & Pearl arc

In Problematic Probopass and Mad Magnezone II, a Cheri Berry was seen amongst the many Berries that Cyrus's Probopass's Mini-Noses dug out of Lax's fur while trying to retrieve Cyrus's camera which Lax had hidden inside its fur.

In Lucky Lucario II, a Cheri Berry was seen amongst the Berries that Diamond used while making food for himself, his Pokémon, and Riley while training at Iron Island.

Black & White arc

In Fussing and Fighting, a Cheri Berry was a part of Professor Juniper's dinner.

Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon arc

In Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer, multiple Cheri Berries appeared in the pile of Berries gathered by a group of Pokémon at Lush Jungle while helping Moon in her search for a special Mirage Berry.
