Route 223 (Japanese: ２２３ばんすいどう Water Route 223) is a water route in eastern Sinnoh, connecting Sunyshore City and the Pokémon League.

Route description

Route 223 is a complete water route having some islets. As with most other water routes, it has Swimmer and Sailor trainers in it. The route starts at the northern end of Sunnyshore City and ends at the South of the Pokémon League. At the end of the route there's a waterfall at the top of which is a pokemon centre and the entrance to Victory Road. When a player first reaches this pokemon centre, he/she may think that route 223 connects to the victory road because they don't realize that it is the southern part of the Pokémon League montain area which also happens to have the cave entrance to victory road.
