Sleep Talk is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation II.

Effect

Sleep Talk can only be used while the user is under the Sleep condition and will fail if the user is not. Sleep Talk will randomly choose one of the user's moves, other than Sleep Talk. This also means that it's possible for Sleep Talk to choose the move Rest, although the user is already asleep.
