Bede (Japanese: ビート Beet) is a character introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

In the games

Bede is one of the player's rivals in Pokémon Sword and Shield. He is a prideful young man who had been personally sponsored by Chairman Rose. While he is competing in the Gym Challenge with the aim of becoming Champion, he appears to have an alterior motive.
