A Sitrus Berry (Japanese: オボンのみ Obon Fruit) is a type of Berry introduced in Generation III. It is the spiritual successor of the Gold Berry from Generation II, initially having an identical effect when used on or by a Pokémon. The effect of the Sitrus Berry was later changed in Generation IV so that it restores 25% of the user's max HP.

Generation III
When held by a Pokémon, if the holder's HP is below 50% at the end of a turn, it will consume its held Sitrus Berry and restore 30 HP.
Generation IV onward
When held by a Pokémon, if the holder's HP falls below 50%, it will consume its held Sitrus Berry and restore 25% of its maximum HP. When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, or Bug Bite, it restore 25% of the consumer's maximum HP.
Due to a glitch in Generation V, dropping below half HP by taking self-inflicted damage from confusion will not activate the Sitrus Berry.
Bag item
Generation III
When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it restores 30 HP to that Pokémon. It is consumed after use.
Generation IV onward
When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it restores the Pokémon's HP by 25% of its maximum HP to that Pokémon. It is consumed after use.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it restores the Pokémon's HP by 50% of its maximum HP, and can also be thrown near wild Pokémon to draw their attention.

It is a food item that restores HP. In Red and Blue Rescue Team and Explorers, it will restore HP by 100, and fill Belly by 5. If eaten at full HP, maximum HP will also raise by 2. In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon and Rescue Team DX, it will increase HP by 200 and fill Belly by 2. If eaten at full HP, it permanently increases max HP by 5.

Pokémon Sleep
The Sitrus Berry is available in Pokémon Sleep as one of the Berries that can be gathered by helper Pokémon and fed to Snorlax.
Effect
Sitrus Berries raise Snorlax's Strength, doubling the effect if the Berry is Snorlax's favorite. The base amount of Strength raised by the Berry is determined by the level of the helper Pokémon that gathered it.

Acquisition
Sitrus Berries can be gathered by Rock-type helper Pokémon in the player's team. Like all Berries in the game, gathered Sitrus Berries do not go into the player's inventory and instead are immediately eaten by Snorlax.
Pokémon UNITE
In Pokémon UNITE, Sitrus Berries appear on all of the game's stages. In the Standard Battle and Ranked Battle stages of Remoat Stadium and Theia Sky Ruins, they appear in pairs just behind the forward-most goal zones of each team. Other stages in the game follow this pattern as well. In Mer Stadium, only one of the two Sitrus Berries is located on the road behind the forward-most goal zones. The other is placed just off of the road, slightly behind the first. While Auroma Park features shared goal zones, two Sitrus Berries still appear near each goal zone, although they are closer to the mouth of the upper left and bottom right corners of the map. Shivre City is an exception, featuring a string of Sitrus Berries on the paths between the goal zones.
Eating a Sitrus Berry heals the player who used it. Players are able to eat the Sitrus Berries located on the opponents' side of the map. Most player characters are unable to eat Sitrus Berries while at full health, but Greedent is allowed to do so due to its Berry focused moveset. Sitrus Berries respawn after being used when a certain amount of time has passed. However, Sitrus Berries will stop appearing and despawn if the goal zone they are associated with is destroyed.

In Pokéblock, Stock, and Berry, Sitrus Berries were seen among the many other Berries sold at the Lilycove Berry Market.

In Currying Favor and Flavor!, where Ash and Pikachu found Sitrus Berries inside a hollowed-out stump in Lush Jungle while looking for a Miracle Seed to be used as a dish ingredient.
In A Mission of Ultra Urgency!, Sitrus Berries were in the Ultra Guardians' medical kit. Some of these Berries were later used to restore a Snorlax that had been drained by a Buzzwole. In the same episode, Team Rocket was also seen picking up some Sitrus Berries in a forest.
Sitrus Berries appeared in the banned episode SM064.
In Real Life...Inquire Within!, Sitrus Berries were included in the basket of Berries given to Ash and his classmates' Pokémon by Anela.
In Guiding an Awakening!, Tapu Bulu healed Lycanroc with a Sitrus Berry in between the second and third rounds of Ash's grand trial battle with Nanu.
In Parallel Friendships!, Dia's Zeraora gave Ash's Pikachu a Sitrus Berry after they had finished their training battle.
In Mind-Boggling Dynamax!, a Snorlax jumped up to eat a Sitrus Berry that fell from a tree. The Snorlax spat out a Sitrus seed that later grew into a giant tree on the Sleeping Pokémon's belly once it Gigantamaxed. The tree bore a gigantic Sitrus Berry, which Ash, Goh, Pikachu, and Scorbunny used to get the Snorlax to move away from an oncoming train.
In Healing the Healer!, Sitrus Berries were among the Berries Goh gathered for a Suicune and several forest Pokémon to eat.
In The Treasure After the Storm!, Sitrus Berries were among one of the Berries that Fuecoco was seen eating from a pile of Berries that had been gathered by the local forest Pokémon in the area. They were later seen being picked by Roy to replenish the upset Pokémon's eaten stash.

Pocket Monsters HGSS Jō's Big Adventure
In Jō VS Team Rocket, Jō tried to give the red Gyarados some Sitrus Berries after it had tired from battling, but it refused to take any until it saw Jō defending it from Ariana and Petrel. Jō also gave a Sitrus Berry to his Totodile during the battle against the two Executives.
Pokémon Adventures
Ruby & Sapphire arc
In Tripped Up by Torkoal, Ruby took out multiple Berries, including a Sitrus Berry, to be used for Berry Blending.
In I Dare Ya, Altaria... Knock Chic off My Shoulder!, a Sitrus Berry appeared amongst the Berries that Sapphire had collected during her travels.
Diamond & Pearl arc
In Dramatic Drapion & Crafty Kricketune II, a Sitrus Berry was one of the Berries that Lax flung at the two Scientists who were chasing the group, but the Scientists' Kricketune and Drapion sliced through every single Berry without effort.
In Problematic Probopass and Mad Magnezone II, a Sitrus Berry was seen amongst the many Berries that Cyrus's Probopass's Mini-Noses dug out of Lax's fur while trying to retrieve Cyrus's camera which Lax had hidden inside its fur.
Platinum arc
In Interrupting Ivysaur, Platinum's Empoleon, Rapidash, and Lopunny each received a Sitrus Berry during Platinum's Battle Arcade challenge as a result of the Game Board.
Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon arc
In Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer, Sitrus Berries were in the pile of Berries gathered by a group of Pokémon at Lush Jungle while helping Moon in her search for a special Mirage Berry.
Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure!
In Gathering of the Legendary Pokémon!, Mitsumi brought a bagful of Sitrus Berries to heal Hareta's Pokémon while facing Giratina. To everybody's astonishment, Hareta also gave a Sitrus Berry to the weakened Giratina, not wanting the battle with it be over too quickly.

Sitrus Berry is a Pokémon Tool card that was first introduced in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the Japanese PCG Era, as part of the Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean set. This Trainer card allows a player to heal 30 damage from the Pokémon this card is attached to during Pokémon Checkup. This card has to be discarded afterwards.
