Heal Pulse (Japanese: いやしのはどう Healing Pulse) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

Heal Pulse restores up to 50% (75% if the user has Mega Launcher) of the target's maximum HP. Heal Pulse bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. It can hit non-adjacent targets in Triple Battles.

If either the user or target is affected by Heal Block, this move cannot be used. In this case, if there are no other usable moves (due to Disable, Choice Band, lack of PP, etc.), the user will use Struggle.

It will fail if the target's HP stat is already full or if it is behind a substitute.

If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Heal Pulse, all of the user's lowered stats are reset, and the target can be healed regardless of whether the user or target is affected by Heal Block.
