Description
Join the Pokémon Trainers at the Battle Academy!
Prepare for a Pokémon battle with the ready-to-play Pokémon Trading Card Game Battle Academy! The Battle Academy includes everything two players need to play, with guides so your first game is easy to follow.
You can choose Charizard or Pikachu to lead your team in a heads-up battle against another Trainer. Then, switch up the decks to play Mewtwo against Charizard or Pikachu, and lead a different team of Pokémon into the arena! With a little strategy and a little luck, you can battle with the best!
Information
The Pokémon Trading Card Game Battle Academy is a beginner-friendly Deck Kit with three decks. Each deck comes with its own deck box, the Charizard and Pikachu decks have guides detailing how to use them, while the Mewtwo deck has an Advanced Rulebook. Additionally, a two-player playboard, status and GX counters, an over-sized coin and a TCGO code card are included. The product is based on the Japanese Sun & Moon Family Pokémon Card Game.
All of the cards within the decks are reprints but have colored silhouettes of the main Pokémon at the bottom right of the card. Cards within the Charizard and Pikachu decks also have a number next to the silhouette, so the decks can be numbered according to their guides; the Mewtwo deck has no guide and thus no numbers. Notably, several cards within the decks are from the Dragon Majesty and Hidden Fates expansions, which were only previously available from specifically set-themed products.
This product contains exclusive prints of 2 different cards:
