Aqua Ring (Japanese: アクアリング Aqua Ring) is a non-damaging Water-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
The user surrounds itself with a veil of water, allowing it to restore 1/16 of its max HP at the end of every turn. The effect of Aqua Ring can be Baton Passed, and will heal any Pokémon, regardless of its type.
If a Big Root is held by the user, the amount of HP restored at the end of each turn will increase by 30%. In order for this boost to take place, the user doesn't have to be holding the Big Root at the moment it used Aqua Ring, but it must be holding the Big Root when the HP is being restored by Aqua Ring.
Generation V onward
Aqua Ring can now be affected by Snatch.
If powered up by a Waterium Z into Z-Aqua Ring, the user's Defense stat rises by one stage.
