A Cheri Berry (Japanese: クラボのみ Kurabo Fruit) is a type of Berry. It was introduced in Generation III and is the first Berry numerically in both Hoenn and Sinnoh. It is the spiritual successor of the PRZCureBerry from Generation II, having an identical effect when used on or by a Pokémon. At a size of 0.8 inches (2 cm), it is also the smallest Berry.
In the core series games
Price
|
In the Generation V games, the Cheri Berry can be sold to the gourmet maniac on Route 5 for $20.
Effect
Held item
If the holder is paralyzed, it will consume its held Cheri Berry and cure it of paralysis. When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, Bug Bite, or Item Urge, it also cures the consumer of paralysis.
Bag item
When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it cures that Pokémon of paralysis. This consumes the Cheri Berry.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it can be used to cure a paralyzed Pokémon, or thrown near wild Pokémon to draw their attention.
