Togetic can sense the kindness in other people and Pokémon's hearts. Togetic (Japanese: トゲチック Togechick) is a dual-type Fairy/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation II. Prior to Generation VI, it was a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Togepi when leveled up with high friendship and evolves into Togekiss when exposed to a Shiny Stone.
Biology
Togetic is a dainty, bipedal Pokémon that is small in stature. It is white with a red and blue triangular ring pattern on its body. It also has a relatively long neck and long legs and a pair of wings on its back, giving it a vaguely angelic appearance. Togetic is capable of levitating itself without needing to flap its wings.
Togetic can sense the kindness in other people and Pokémon's hearts. Whenever it spots a pure-hearted person, it tends to go to that person and shower them with happiness and glowing down called "joy dust". To share its happiness, it is said to fly around the world seeking these people. If it is not with kind people, however, it becomes dispirited and loses energy. Togetic is rare in the wild, but can sometimes be found living within the forests. As mentioned in Pokémon Sleep, Togetic is known to occasionally sleep while floating and steadily flapping its wings.[1] It is believed that a mysterious power is keeping Togetic in the air.
Evolution
Togetic evolves from Togepi and evolves into Togekiss.
(For specifics on this Pokémon's Evolution in the games, refer to Game data→Evolution data.)

Trivia
- Togetic and its evolution are the only Pokémon that are in the Flying and Fairy Egg Groups.
- Also, they are the only Fairy-type Pokémon in the Flying Egg Group.
- Togetic shares its category name with Blissey. They are both known as the Happiness Pokémon.
- Togetic is tied with Vespiquen for the lowest base Speed stat of all Flying-type Pokémon.
- Among all Pokémon to be the slowest of their respective types, Togetic (and Vespiquen) are the fastest.
- Togetic and Typhlosion are the only Pokémon officially introduced in Generation II not to appear in the animated series until the next generation.
Origin
Togetic's design appears to draw inspiration from a fairy, a baby bird, and an egg. It may also be based on an angel.
Name origin
Togetic and Togechick may be a combination of 刺 toge (spike) and chick (a baby bird).
