| |||
The Dreamyard is an abandoned, wrecked research facility where several Trainers can be found training. In the west is the exit into Striaton City. Two Trainers and a third woman stand outside of the Dreamyard's aboveground ruins. The woman will give the player one of the unevolved elemental monkeys. A cuttable tree blocks the entrance to the ruins. Patches of tall grass can be found within the ruins, and barrels are scattered about. Steel bars are visible sticking out of walls and through holes in the floor.
Within the western part of the ruins (behind the cuttable tree) is a staircase to access the second floor where two items can be found. The gap in the fence to the right of the cuttable tree leads to the basement, but the path to the stairs is initially blocked by an orange traffic cone. This cone will disappear after the player has defeated N and Ghetsis. Patches of tall grass are also near the basement stairs.
The basement appears to be a storage area, with piles of boxes and broken furnishings scattered around. Scientists and Psychics are training here. Many of these Trainers turn in the opposite direction upon seeing the player, rather than immediately challenging them. The Trainers that do this all walk in circles, and battling these Trainers requires the player to interact with them as they walk past by. The only one who does not is Psychic Rudolf in the southwest corner in Black and White.
The basement's exit is in the southeast, leading to an otherwise inaccessible, southern portion of the Dreamyard. This area contains a field of Tall grass. In Black and White, Gorm of the Seven Sages can be found and arrested in the southeast. A second set of stairs in the north of this area will lead to another section of the basement. A movable boulder to the north of these stairs can be pushed into its hole with Strength, connecting this area with the initial area.

Pokémon world locations |
The Dreamyard (Japanese: 夢の跡地 Dream Ruins) is the overgrown ruins of an abandoned research facility in southeast Unova. It is connected to Striaton City in the west. It is home to a Munna and Musharna.
In Pokémon Black and White, the player encounters some Team Plasma Grunts here who are kicking a Munna to get its Dream Mist. Cut is required to access the building area. After beating Ghetsis and N, the orange traffic cone is removed. This allows access to the basement and the other portion of the area, where Gorm of the Seven Sages can be found and arrested.
Geography
This area contains a field of dark grass. In Black and White, Gorm of the Seven Sages can be found and arrested in the southeast. A second set of stairs in the north of this area will lead to another section of the basement. A movable boulder to the north of these stairs can be pushed into its hole with Strength, connecting this area with the initial area.

The Dreamyard appeared in Dreams by the Yard Full!. Fennel explained that the site was once a research facility used to research Musharna's Dream Mist in the hopes of discovering a cleaner energy source. However, due to people's evil thoughts and desires surrounding the project, Musharna was corrupted and its Dream Mist turned black. This triggered an energy overload and a subsequent giant explosion that destroyed the whole facility. Only Fennel, her Munna, and two other scientists survived the explosion, with no sign of Musharna. Prior to its destruction, it was known as the Pokémon Energy Laboratory.
Years after the explosion, Team Rocket came to the site and used a mecha to research the site's abundant energy. This awoke Musharna, causing Dream Mist to spread everywhere. Fennel, along with Ash, Iris, Cilan, and Officer Jenny, rushed there, finding Team Rocket and Musharna, who was held captive. Fortunately, it was freed by Fennel's Munna and Ash's Pikachu and they were reunited.
