Main series
Drasna first appeared in The Future is Now, Thanks to Strategy!, where Ash saw her on TV, being revealed to be his next World Coronation Series opponent. Later in the episode, she was seen having a brief battle with Wikstrom at the Castle of Chivalry.

In Taking Two For The Team!, Drasna and Ash faced each other at the Lumiose Conference stadium. She proved to be an extremely challenging opponent, but ultimately, Ash was able to defeat her, increasing his ranking. In this episode, it was revealed that Clemont had also battled her once and been easily defeated.

Character
Drasna has a very airy personality outside of battle. She is kind when referring to her opponents, offering them praise before and after a battle. Her gentle demeanor, however, drops just before and during battle, turning sickly sweet to the point where her opponents and peers are left slightly frightened. Even when irritated and frustrated, she still manages to maintain a smile, though there is a considerably less amount of warmth behind it at those times. Following her loss to Ash, she returns to her warm and amicable personality, offering Ash sincere praise, as well as becoming highly flattered at Bonnie's attempt to have her marry Clemont.

In battle, she utilizes her Pokémon's physical characteristics a great deal, such as Noivern's wings and Altaria's plumage to reduce damage. She combines such defensive strategies with powerful direct offense, enabling her to land multiple blows in quick succession to great effect.

Pokémon
During battle, it is shown that Drasna uses her Pokémon's unique physical characteristics to her advantage, such as Noivern's massive wings and Altaria's cotton like plumage to block powerful attacks.

This listing is of Drasna's known Pokémon in the anime:

Pokémon Adventures
Drasna debuts in Malamar Traps. She first appears as a fantasy when Diantha informed Korrina about each of the Kalos Elite Four. She later debuts in person alongside Wikstrom, where she assists X and Y's group in their quest to stop Team Flare. As they left to confront Team Flare at their hiding place, Drasna gives X's group a letter containing information about Zygarde. Drasna (Japanese: ドラセナ Dracaena) is a Dragon-type Trainer and member of the Kalos Elite Four.

In the core series games

Drasna challenging the player

In Pokémon X and Y, Drasna appears as an Elite Four Trainer of Kalos. Her grandparents are from Sinnoh's Celestic Town and taught her about the region's mythology surrounding Dialga and Palkia, which inspired her to train Dragon-type Pokémon. In Pokémon Masters EX, it is revealed that Drasna considers Pokémon battles to be a form of play. Drasna has a friendly, cheerful personality, but often shows a relaxed composure, which hints at her strength that knows no bounds.[1]

Drasna in the anime

It faced and was defeated by Dracovish in the final bout, causing Drasna to lose the battle.

Noivern's known moves are Super Fang, Boomburst, and Dragon Pulse.

Altaria is seen displaying much of its Trainer's personality, including taunting Ash's Pokémon and laughing at the opponent just before the battle begins.
