Cassiopeia (Japanese: カシオペア Cassiopeia) is a character introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, they recruit the player into "Operation Starfall".

History

Cassiopeia first interacts with the player in the school's cafeteria through their Rotom Phone, having hacked it in order to reach them. They recruit the player into their mission, Operation Starfall, which is to bring down Team Star via the five bosses scattered around Paldea.

When the player is close to a base, Cassiopeia will call and brief them in the base and the boss of the base. Once the player has defeated the Team Star boss, Cassiopeia will call again and reward the player with League Points.

After defeating all the bosses, Cassiopeia reveals that they were the "big boss" and tells the player to meet them at the academy, where their true identity is revealed.
