The Pokémon Center men are a quintet of non-player characters that appear in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. They are all located in the Mauville City Pokémon Center, however only one will be present at a time. Each one can be indicated by the color of their hair.

Each man performs a different role.

If two or more players of Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald mix records with each other, the men that were in each players' games will be transferred over.

The storyteller

This man, in his own words, "tells tales of legendary Trainers". He tells the player about records they have set as well as those set with other players they have mixed records with. When approached by the player, he will offer them choices of the records they would like to hear about, and will also add a comment about it.
