Route 218 (Japanese: 218ばんどうろ Route 218) is a route in western Sinnoh, connecting Jubilife City and Canalave City.
Route description
Heading west from Jubilife City, the route follows a short path over land before reaching a body of water with a small island in the middle. A pair of bridges take travelers partway across the water, but do not go all the way to the other side; the only way to travel across is on a surfing Pokémon. Wild Pokémon live within the flowing current, which bring the area great renown throughout the fishing community.
Traveling north from the central island yields a short journey to the far side of the stream where long grass grows. From here, a gateway leads to Canalave City. Surfing south will take travelers to the same landmass as the northern route, but a row of tall trees prevents further passage. Honey can be found here.

Trivia
- A policeman in the gate to Canalave City says "Boy... I sure am thirsty... ". This is a reference to the thirsty guards in the gates on Route 5, 6, 7, and 8, who prevented access to Saffron City in Generation I and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.
- The route itself, however short it may be, is similar to Route 12 and the Silence Bridge in Kanto that joins Lavender Town and Routes 11 and 13, in the fact that they both contain prime fishing spots, have wooden bridge-like areas, and have fishermen who will give the player a fishing rod.
- After being defeated, Guitarist Tony states, "Do you hear that? It is my guitar weeping..." This may be a reference to the popular song by The Beatles, While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
- The Town Map does not show the waterway in the middle of this route. A similar error is made with Canalave City.
