Trivia
- In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Ace Trainer Deanna's Tropius is contained in a Cherish Ball, likely as a reference to Shokotan's Tropius, the first event Pokémon to be contained in a Cherish Ball. This is further supported by her Japanese name being Shōko.
- This makes her the only non-player character in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to keep a Pokémon in a non-standard Poké Ball.
- In the Japanese version of Pokémon Platinum, it is possible to battle Ace Trainer Deanna infinitely until the player blacks out.
