Razor Leaf (Japanese: はっぱカッター Leaf Cutter) is a damage-dealing Grass move introduced in Generation I.

Effect
Effect
Generation I
Razor Leaf deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.

Razor Leaf does damage, and has a high critical hit ratio.
In battles with multiple opponents, Razor Leaf targets all adjacent foes. Razor Leaf's odds of landing critical hits is calculated for each hit opponent individually.

In the anime
Razor Leaf will also destroy grass patches found in the background of battles.

Notes:
* Razor-Sharp Razor Leaf:
** This buddy move was known as B Razor Leaf prior to version 2.38.0.

UNITE
In Pokémon UNITE, Razor Leaf is Decidueye's and Tsareena's first move, as well as Venusaur's second move.

Venusaur starts with the move as Bulbasaur. The user launches a barrage of sharp-edged leaves in the designated direction, damaging enemies over time.  Upon reaching level 7 as Ivysaur, it is replaced by either Solar Beam or Petal Dance.

Decidueye can obtain the move by evolving from Dartrix stage at level 7 and upgrading Leafage into it instead of Spirit Shackle. The attack summons whirling razor leaves. While active, Decidueye's basic attack is replaced by a new basic attack that targets all enemies in range, as well as increasing Attack by 10% and basic attack speed. At level 11, it also increases basic attack damage by 2% of the enemies remaining HP. This damage only applies once per attack, not on each of the 3 boosted quills.

Tsareena starts with the move as Bounsweet. The user pelts leaves in the designated direction, dealing damage to enemies hit. The critical-hit rate of this move is higher than that of basic attacks.  Upon reaching level 5 as Steenee, it is replaced by either Triple Axel or Stomp.

Razor Leaf (Japanese: はっぱカッター Leaf Cutter) is a damage-dealing Grass-type move introduced in Generation I.

Effect

Razor Leaf deals damage and has an increased critical hit ratio. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%.

In battles with multiple opponents, Razor Leaf targets all adjacent foes. Razor Leaf's odds of landing critical hits is calculated for each hit opponent individually.

Razor Leaf will also destroy grass patches found in the background of battles.

Razor Leaf can be used as the second move of a Pokémon Contest combination, with the user gaining 3 bonus appeal points if Growth was used in the previous turn.

Super Smash Bros. series

Razor Leaf is Ivysaur's side special move. When used, a single leaf is thrown in a slightly random trajectory (though it is very close to straight), dealing damage and knockback on those it hits.

Chikorita uses Razor Leaf after coming out of a Poké Ball in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Snivy uses Razor Leaf after coming out of a Poké Ball in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. However, it cannot legitimately learn this move in the main series games.

Pokémon UNITE
