Biology
(Specifics may differ in past games. Refer to Game data→Evolution data for these details.)
Glaceon is a quadruped, mammalian creature covered in light-blue fur that can be frozen into sharp quills. It has long, pointed ears, dark eyes, and a small nose. Glaceon has two dark blue, rhombus-shaped markings on its back, and the tip of its tail and feet are the same shade of blue. With the crest on its forehead and the two teal dangles hanging from its ears, it appears to be wearing a teal ushanka or trapper's hat.

This Pokémon is able to create small ice crystals around it by controlling its body temperature. It is capable of freezing its fur into sharp needle-like icicles, used to tackle its prey. It can drop its body temperature below -75 degrees Fahrenheit. Glaceon is usually found in urban areas under the care of humans. It is rarely found in the wild.
It is one of Eevee's final forms, the others being Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Sylveon.

Glaceon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered in light-blue fur. It has long, pointed ears, dark eyes, and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps adorns its head, resembling hair or headgear. Glaceon has two dark blue, rhombus-shaped markings on its back; the tip of its tail, feet, and flaps are the same shade of blue.
Major appearances
May's Glaceon
Glaceon debuted in A Full Course Tag Battle!, where it was revealed that May's Eevee evolved into it prior to the episode's events. It was used to battle Dawn's Piplup in the Battle Stage of the Wallace Cup in Strategy With A Smile!.

Other
A Glaceon appeared in All for the Love of Meloetta!, under the ownership of Cynthia. It was used to make some ice for Meloetta.

A male Glaceon debuted in Team Eevee and the Pokémon Rescue Squad!, along with an Eevee and her other evolved forms at the time, under the ownership of Virgil. He reappeared in a flashback in the next episode. In Lost at the League!, he defeated a Reuniclus during the third round of the Vertress Conference.
By controlling its body temperature, it freezes the moisture in the air, producing ice crystals or diamond dust surrounding it. It is capable of freezing its fur into sharp needle-like icicles, which it can fire at opponents or use as protection as it tackles at its prey. As mentioned in the Sleep Style Dex, Glaceon can also perform this defense mechanism while sleeping. It can quickly drop its body temperature below −75 °F (−60 °C). Glaceon is rather popular in ski resorts due to its ability to create powdery snow. Those captivated by Glaceon's beautiful snowfall will be instantly frozen without realizing it.

A Glaceon appeared in Eevee & Friends along with an Eevee and its evolved forms, including the newly introduced Sylveon. It has an artistic personality and decorates its room with elaborate ice sculptures.

Evolution
Evolution data
Glaceon evolves from Eevee when exposed to an Ice Rock or, from Generation VIII onwards, when exposed to an Ice Stone. Eevee will always evolve into Glaceon when leveled up near an Ice Rock, even if the evolutionary conditions for it to evolve into Espeon, Umbreon, or Sylveon have also been met. The Ice Rock is not present in HeartGold and SoulSilver, Sword and Shield, or Scarlet and Violet, and the Ice Stone is not obtainable in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Eevee will never evolve into Glaceon in LGPE, as Glaceon is not present in those games.

Like many of the Eeveelutions, Glaceon shares characteristics of foxes, dogs, and cats. It may be more closely based on an arctic fox, due to their habitat. Glaceon is a combination of glace (French for ice) or glacier (a large, slow moving mass of ice on land) and eon (an immeasurably long period of time, possibly referring to how long evolution takes naturally). Eon is a suffix all Eevee evolutions share and was Eevee's English prototype name. Its name may also be an anagram of the English word congeal (meaning to freeze)

Glaceon (Japanese: グレイシア Glacia) is an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV.

It evolves from Eevee when leveled up near an Ice Rock or when exposed to an Ice Stone.

(Specifics may differ in past games. Refer to Game data→Evolution data for these details.)

It is one of Eevee's final forms, the others being Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Sylveon.

Biology

Glaceon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered in light-blue fur. It has long, pointed ears, dark eyes, and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps adorns its head, resembling hair or headgear. Glaceon has two dark blue, rhombus-shaped markings on its back; the tip of its tail, feet, and flaps are the same shade of blue.

Evolution

Glaceon evolves from Eevee.

(For specifics on this Pokémon's Evolution in the games, refer to Game data→Evolution data.)

Violet It lowers its body heat to freeze its fur. The hairs then become like needles it can fire.

The Ice Rock is not present in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Pokémon Sword and Shield, or Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the Ice Stone is not obtainable in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Eevee will never evolve into Glaceon in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, as Glaceon is not present in those games.

Trivia

Concept and development

Glaceon was designed by Atsuko Nishida.[2][3]

Origin

Like many of the Eeveelutions, Glaceon shares characteristics with foxes, dogs, and cats. It may be more closely based on an arctic fox, due to their habitat. Assuming Leafeon draws inspiration from Siamese or other colorpoint cats, Glaceon may also draw some inspiration from them (especially blue points). Its "hair" resembles an ushanka or a scarf hat.

Name origin

Glaceon may be a combination of glacier (a large, slow-moving mass of ice on land) or glace (French for ice) and eon (an immeasurably long period of time, possibly referring to how long evolution takes naturally). Eon is a suffix all Eevee evolutions share and was Eevee's English prototype name. Incidentally, its name is also an anagram of congeal (to become solid, usually by cooling).

Glacia may be derived from glacier. It may also involve grace.
