(Japanese: イクオ Ikuo) is a recurring character who appeared in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He is a system engineer at Gogo Systems, the father of Goh, and the husband of Kurune.
History
Ikuo first appeared in A Snow Day for Searching!. He was working alongside his wife when they received a phone call from Goh, who informed them that he was coming back home to visit them. After wondering why Goh was visiting them, Ikuo and Kurune finished their work before going to meet Go. Just then, they received a call for help, forcing them to inform Goh that they were canceling their meeting.
Once their work was done, Ikuo and Kurune were heading home when they spotted Goh riding Dragonite. They approached Goh after Dewgong retrieved a Cubone's bone and were introduced to Ash. After meeting Goh's Pokémon and witnessing Goh catch Cubone, the group headed home to enjoy some stew, where they found that Tome had won her karaoke tournament.
Ikuo reappeared in JN032, where he, Kurune, and Goh took a family holiday to a cottage in Azalea Town, which they also did three years ago.
