Jervis (Japanese: ジェルミ Jeremy) is a recurring character who appeared in the Pokémon anime. He is Cynthia's butler at her villa in Undella Town.

History

Jervis debuted in Piplup, Pansage, and a Meeting of the Times!, where he was introduced to Ash, Iris and Cilan shortly after they arrived in Undella Town with Cynthia. He then drove them to Cynthia's villa. Later, when Cilan challenged Dawn to a battle in order to evaluate the bond between a Coordinator and their Pokémon, Jervis took the role of referee. He called an official time out once Meloetta interrupted the match after becoming impressed by Piplup's appealing moves.

In Expedition to Onix Island!, Jervis brought Ash and his friends, who wanted to search for a special Onix, to a tropical island by boat. Before leaving the group, Jervis warned them for the many dangers on the island. At the end of the day, Jervis returned to the island to pick them up and bring them back to Undella Town.

In Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!, Jervis greeted Ash and his friends as they arrived at Cynthia's villa. In Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!, thanks to Jervis's advice, Cameron traveled to the closest Gym in Humilau City and went on to earn his eighth and final Unova League Badge, Wave Badge.

He made cameo appearances from Meloetta and the Undersea Temple! to Beauties Battling for Pride and Prestige!, during the entire Operation Tempest arc. He was the one who informed Ash about the location of Unova's League Conference, saying the tournament was scheduled to take place in Vertress City.

Character

Jervis has a calm and collected personality. He is also very polite and seems to have a broad knowledge about the Unova region.
