Scott (Japanese: エニシダ Enishida) is the owner of the Battle Frontier. His English name may come from the word "scout", as he scouts out talent.

Rewards

On your first visit to his house in the Battle Frontier, he will give you 1 BP for each time you spoke with him previously. The locations are as follows:

1. Pokémon Trainer's School, before beating Roxanne.
2. Pokémon Trainer's School, after beating Roxanne.
3. Slateport City near the Battle Tent.
4. Verdanturf Town near the Battle Tent.
5. Fallarbor Town near the Battle Tent.
6. At the Cove Lily Motel in Lilycove City.
7. In front of Mossdeep City's Space Center.
8. At Evergrande City's Pokémon Center.

Upon completing objectives in the Battle Frontier, he will give you the following prizes after speaking with him:

1. Silver Shield (Win 50 battles)
2. Gold Shield (Win 100 battles)
3. Lansat Berry (Obtain all Silver Frontier Symbols)
4. Starf Berry (Obtain all Gold Frontier Symbols)

Scott first appeared in The Scheme Team. He is voiced by 坂口候一 Kōichi Sakaguchi in Japanese and John Campbell (AG132-AG136) and Bill Rogers (AG149-present) in English.

After observing Ash's battle against Agatha, Scott recommended that Ash go to the Battle Frontier. He next appeared in Numero Uno Articuno to observe Ash's battle against Noland. Since then, Scott has appeared at every battle facility to observe Ash battle against that Frontier Brain. Before the seventh Frontier Brain was revealed, some fans believed that Scott himself was the final challenge.
