Shadow Ball (Japanese: シャドーボール Shadow Ball) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in Generation II. It has been TM30 since Generation II.
Effect
In battle
Shadow Ball deals damage and has a 20% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Shadow Ball is Mewtwo's standard special move in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It is chargeable and moves in a zigzag fashion. Lucario, who debuted in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, uses Aura Sphere, which functions similarly.
