Scott (Japanese: エニシダ Enishida) is the owner of the Hoenn Battle Frontier. His English name may come from the word "scout", as he scouts out talent.
In the games
Scott appears throughout Pokémon Emerald in various locations in Hoenn, where he can be talked to by the player. Below are the locations he can be found:
- Petalburg City after Wally catches his first Pokémon.
- Pokémon Trainer's School, before beating Roxanne.
- Pokémon Trainer's School, after beating Roxanne.
- Slateport City near the Battle Tent.
- Verdanturf Town near the Battle Tent.
- Fallarbor Town near the Battle Tent.
- At the Cove Lily Motel in Lilycove City.
- In front of Mossdeep City's Space Center.
- At Ever Grande City's Pokémon Center.
When the player first arrives at the Battle Frontier, Scott will award him or her with 1BP for each time they spoke.
Rewards
In addition to the Battle Points he gives away, Scott will also reward the player for completing various objectives in the Battle Frontier:
- Silver Shield (after winning 50 battles)
- Lansat (after getting all seven Frontier Symbols in Silver rank)
- Starf (after getting all seven Frontier Symbols in Gold rank)
In the anime
Scott first appeared in The Scheme Team. He is voiced by 坂口候一 Kōichi Sakaguchi in Japanese and John Campbell (Template:4Kids dub) and Bill Rogers (TPCi dub) in English. Internationally, he is voiced by Ivo Roberto (regular voice actor) and Dado Monteiro (AG149) in the Brazilian dub and by Luis Alfonso Padilla in the Latin-American Spanish dub.

In Pace - The Final Frontier!, Scott asked Ash to be a Frontier Brain after he defeated Pyramid King Brandon, the last Frontier Brain. It was declined by Ash.

Scott appears on his own card in the EX Emerald and EX Power Keepers sets.
