Fullmoon Island
Fullmoon Island (Japanese: まんげつじま Full Moon Island) is an island located north of Sinnoh, where the Legendary Pokémon Cresselia is initially encountered. This island can be visited only after the player has become the champion and obtained the National Dex, and can be revisited at any time, though not with much point.
Recently, the son of the sailor who runs the ferry to Iron Island from Canalave City has become fearful, and had many nightmares. From his dialog, one can realize that the cause of these nightmares is the Pokémon Darkrai. To cure his son, the sailor begs the player to take the ferry to Fullmoon Island to get a Lunar Wing.
Upon arrival, the player will find that there is not much to the island besides an entrance to a deeper area of the island, where Cresselia waits. After encountering her, she will fly off and, as soon as the player returns to Canalave City, she will roam the routes of Sinnoh. As soon as Cresselia has left, the Lunar Wing can be found were she was.
Fullmoon Island can be returned to at any time after the sailor's task is completed, though there is not much reason to return at all (though there is a section of The Underground that can only be reached by digging on Fullmoon Island).
Trivia
- The boy of the sailor who owns the boat that normally goes to Iron Island says "DAR... DARK... Is watching me..." He may mean Darkrai.
