History

Kyogre was first awakened in Mega Evolution Special II by the presence of the Giant Rock.

It played a significant role in Mega Evolution Special III. Lysandre first alerted Alain and Steven to Kyogre's appearance off the coast of Sootopolis City, where it was shown in its primal state. It soon clashed with Primal Groudon over the Giant Rock. It also fought Steven's Mega Metagross, and was almost defeated by it until Metagross was beaten by Mega Rayquaza. Kyogre was quickly defeated by Mega Rayquaza's Dragon Ascent and reverted to its normal form.

It reappeared in flashbacks during Cloudy Fate, Bright Future! and The First Day of the Rest of Your Life!.

It appears in a fit of rage and violently attacked, fighting against Alain and Steven with their Mega Charizard X and Shiny Mega Metagross, gaining the upper hand before destroying the megalith with Draco Meteor. It then left and returned to the ozone layer.
