Origin
Clay's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Palpitoad is a Pokémon that Clay uses in his Gym battle with the player in Black and White. Both Palpitoad and Seismitoad are used by Clay in the Pokémon World Tournament in Black 2 and White 2. Palpitoad's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black. Seismitoad's Dex entry comes from Pokémon White.
