Trivia

  • Klara and Avery are the only Trainers based off rivals not playable in the core series to lack the "Rival" theme skill.
  • Klara is the first Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX to have been introduced in a DLC expansion to a core series game.
  • Klara & Slowbro's buddy move Poisonous Shell Side Arm has the longest move description of any move in Pokémon Masters EX.
  • All versions of Klara use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Gloria, Victor, Marnie, and Avery.

Origin

Klara's design is based on her appearance in The Isle of Armor expansion in Pokémon Sword. Galarian Slowbro is Klara's signature Pokémon in the core series games, where it is also capable of Dynamaxing. Slowbro's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
