Lear (Japanese: ライヤー Lyer) is a character introduced in Pokémon Masters. He is the founder of Pasio and the Pokémon Masters League.
In the games
Lear is the prince of an unknown country. After losing to a Trainer wearing a hat, Lear built the artificial island of Pasio and founded the Pokémon Masters League with the hopes of overcoming his weaknesses. He is supported by his subordinates, Sawyer and Rachel.
